Hey everyone! As you are probably aware Cpt Capable is doing one new thing a week. You may not know she asked me if I would like to participate in this heroic undertaking. Noooooooo say I it sounds dangerous, complicated and far too much effort. After long consideration however I have decided to match her ante with something that requires a little less effort but just as much (I think) imagination. Here goes what I plan to do is every week following C’s new thing I shall post something that I during my life have forgotten about then remembered or something that I still think about and miss. Sounds sorta simple doesn’t it? Well, you should be warned some of this stuff could get pretty depressing/nostalgic and the category borders are a bit on the grey fuzzy side but it should be an interesting endeavour. I hope everyone can get something??????? out of it, hope you enjoy.
number 1: I remember those little disposable toothbrushes that that were dispensed by a machine for 20 cents at the airport, you know the ones that looked like a lipstick, you took one end off and put it back on the other way round and hey presto! pre-pasted toothbrush. they did the job(sorta) and they fell apart pretty easy and the bristles were made of one molded piece of plastic (oh so ouchy against the gums) but the paste, now that was something else it was sweet and sort of minty the like of which I have never seen. dad used to bring em back for us en-mass when he went away and i cant seem to find them as an adult.Where did they go i wonder, maybe they have become extinct or it is possible that they just didn’t meet current hygiene standards, but i don’t care! PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASEEEEEEEEEEEE bring them back i miss them terribly.
